Some processing is necessary to provide a feature you request. Optional website analytics is disabled until you choose to accept it.

Apple Health and Health Connect

Health and fitness features are optional. KKAL accesses health data only after you grant permission through Apple Health on iOS or Health Connect on Android. You can deny or revoke access at any time in your device settings and continue using KKAL without health integration.

Apple Health (iOS)

KKAL may request permission to read step count, active energy burned, and nutrition data such as dietary energy, protein, fat, and carbohydrates. We use step counts to show daily progress, estimate calories burned from walking, adjust calorie and macro budgets when enabled, and recommend a step goal. If you choose to sync meals with Apple Health, KKAL writes dietary energy, protein, fat, and carbohydrate values for meals you log. KKAL does not write step or activity records.

Health Connect (Android)

KKAL requests read-only access to your Steps data. We read daily step totals for the current day and up to the previous 14 days to show progress, estimate calories burned from walking, adjust your calorie budget, and recommend a step goal. KKAL does not write to or delete records in Health Connect and does not request background access to Health Connect data.

How We Handle Health Data

• Step totals may be cached locally on your device to provide daily history and recommendations. Health Connect totals cached by KKAL are removed from the app after access is revoked.
• When you use the AI Assistant, step totals or calories derived from your steps may be included with your request and processed by our AI service providers to personalize the response you requested.
• We do not sell health or fitness data or use it for advertising, marketing, creditworthiness, lending decisions, or data brokerage.
• We do not share health or fitness data except with service providers needed to deliver a feature you request, with your explicit consent, or when required by law.

You can decline analytics without losing access to public content or calculators. Use “Analytics Choices” in the footer to clear your saved choice and decide again; browser settings can also control storage.
